Sue and I enjoyed taking flowers out to as many as we could on Mothering Sunday, we are sorry if you did not get a visit from us, know that you were held in our thoughts and prayers.
One of the joys of having a relatively large Electoral Role is that getting to everyone in one day is all but impossible.
Again, I do apologise if flowers did not get to you.
I have been deeply heartened by the many who have offered themselves to volunteer and help out wherever necessary, thank you.
Volunteer Cornwall are now keeping a list and matching offers to need. If you want to know how to get in touch with them let me know.
The Foodbank has continued to operate and are very grateful for peoples donations of food and money.
Several of you have asked how to make a donation and here is the Sort Code and Account number to make an on-line payment by BACS.
Sort Code: 30-96-03 – Account number 22708768
This will enable the Foodbank to keep stocks at an appropriate level as we are seeing a high increase in demand.
We expect an even higher uptake as the schools break up for Easter.
The Foodbank has sites at St Michael’s, St Columb Minor and St Columb Major.
If you know anyone who is struggling with obtaining shopping, no one to speak to (by ‘phone), please let me or one of the clergy/ministry team know.
Look out on-line for – https://www.kerdh.co.uk – Rev’d Chris McQ-W is keeping this updated and it has a wealth of spiritual and prayer material.
I am working on Holy Week and Easter and hope those of you with a computer may want to join a virtual worship session.
Sadly this may defeat my technical skills, but having a curate who is younger than some of my suits is very handy!!
This is just to say a continued hello, be assured I am praying everyday and Celebrating a Communion each day at home.
As I say out loud the Eucharistic Prayer and especially ‘Do this in Remembrance of me’ – my mind has images flashing through it of all of you.
May God’s love surround and hold us,
