Weekly Collect

Collect for Sunday 13th November 2022 – Remembrance Sunday

Almighty Father,
whose will is to restore all things in your beloved Son,
the King of all: govern the hearts and minds of those in authority,
and bring the families of the nations,
divided and torn apart by the ravages of sin,
to be subject to his just and gentle rule;
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Collect for Sunday 6th November 2022 – Third Sunday before Advent

Heavenly Father, whose blessed Son was revealed to destroy the
works of the devil and to make us the children of God and heirs of
eternal life: grant that we, having this hope,
may purify ourselves even as he is pure;
that when he shall appear in power and great glory
we may be made like him in his eternal and glorious kingdom;
where he is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Collect for Sunday 30th October 2022 – All Saints Sunday

Almighty God, you have knit together your elect in one communion

have prepared for those who truly love you;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
